HeForShe is a solidarity campaign for the advancement of gender equality.
Founded by the United Nations, HeForShe encourages people, especially men and boys, to become ‘agents for change’ and pledge to end gender inequality. The movement is grounded in the idea that gender inequality negatively impacts everyone in society.
How You Can Help

If you have more time, you could take action in your community, organising an event to raise awareness of HeForShe using the materials available here on the organisation’s website.
You can tell HeForShe about any events you are organising here, or write a summary of what you’ve achieved for the campaign and submit it to be featured on the site.

If you wish to show extra support, you can make a donation of your choice to UN Women (the UN organisation fighting violence against women and girls) either on a monthly basis or as a one-off gift.
