Founded in 1919, Save the Children advocates for the rights of children across the world.

Save the Children works in more than 120 countries to advocate for children in need of support. They provide emergency aid in times of conflict and natural disasters as well as working with local and regional organisations to provide vaccinations, improve nutrition, improve access to education and more.

How You Can Help

In just a few minutes, sign your name to support one of Save the Children’s active campaigns and petitions.

You can apply to volunteer with Save the Children in their local shops, fundraising, and in organising events. Visit their website to see the available volunteering opportunities.

Please note: Many Save the Children operations, including the running of charity shops, were severely disrupted by Covid-19. They are reopening, but please be aware some volunteering positions may not yet be available in your area.

Make a single or monthly donation to Save the Children online or via text giving, or give specifically to the charity’s UK work.

You can also set up or join a fundraising initiative (including through JustGiving)

Alternatively, browse the Save the Children online shop or search for your nearest charity shop.
