RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals)

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) is a charity that promotes animal welfare across England and Wales.

Founded in 1824, the RSPCA is the oldest and largest animal welfare organisation in the world, and the first to introduce a law to protect animals. Through their campaigns they work to raise standards of care, and awareness of issues, affecting animals today. It investigates and prosecutes cruelty complaints, rescues and rehabilitates animals, works with schools to educate children and works with offenders to prevent repeats of cruel behaviour towards animals.
