There are also many volunteering opportunities available with Shelter. On their website you can filter roles by location, availability, time commitment, type of activity and more.
Please note: the minimum age for volunteering in Shelter charity shops is 14 years, and shift duration will be limited if you are under 16.
If you are homeless or struggling with housing issues, you can also get involved directly with Shelter’s work by joining local meeting groups or sharing your experiences, such as sharing your story to help provide Shelter with real-life testimonies for their campaigning work.

Make a donation of your choice to Shelter, either as a one-off gift or on a monthly basis.
The organisation also provide resources on how to host a fundraising event, and you can also donate to or browse their physical charity shops, or their online shop.
