UK Black Pride is Europe’s largest celebration for LGBTQI+ people of African, Asian, Caribbean, Latin American and Middle Eastern-descent.
UK Black Pride produces an annual celebration during Pride month, as well as a variety of activities throughout the year in and around the UK, which also promote and advocate for the spiritual, emotional, and intellectual health and wellbeing of the communities the group represents.
How You Can Help
Time: Various (likely an hour – several hours a week, with a greater time commitment at Pride)
UK Black Pride rely on a core team of volunteers in a wide variety of roles, from administration, to fundraising, marketing, logistics and community engagement.
Open vacancies in the core team can be found here.
Other volunteers are needed to support the annual UK Black Pride festival. These volunteers are needed for tasks such as running workshops and stalls, or even to perform. These roles are unpaid but participants will be provided free access to the festival.
Please note: Roles at UK Black Pride are open to who represent the communities they celebrate, their allies and those who have skills to contribute to the movement.
