The Relatives & Residents Association (R&RA) is the UK national charity for older people needing care and the relatives and friends who help them cope.
Founded in 1992, the Relatives & Residents Association champions the rights of older people needing care in England. They provide information, advice and support to empower older people and their families/friends, and use their unique perspective to raise awareness and to influence policy and practice.

Subscribe to the R&RA eBulletin in a couple of minutes to receive the charity’s latest news and events. Visit the group’s home page and scroll down to the bottom right to subscribe.
R&RA welcomes help from volunteers, either in their London office or in other local communities. They ask those interested to contact them to discuss volunteering opportunities.
Cost: Various
Donate to the R&RA online, or become a member for £24 a year. Membership provides access to reduced conference fees and publication prices, and voting rights at the R&RA AGM.
