The Hygiene Bank is a grassroots charity and social movement giving people in the UK access to essential hygiene supplies.
Inspired by the 2016 film I, Daniel Blake, The Hygiene Bank was born to combat hygiene poverty in the UK, and help relieve the pressure on those having to choose between hygiene and personal care products and other essentials such as food or bills.
How You Can Help
The Hygiene Banks have a number of volunteering roles available in their local branches around the UK, and are also looking for volunteers to start new Banks in their local area.
Make a single or monthly donation to The Hygiene Bank or support them via Amazon Smile or Easy Fundraising.
You can also check The Hygiene Bank website for updates on seasonal donation campaigns, such as Christmas appeals and National Hygiene Week in July.
