Oogachaga is a non-profit organisation providing support for LGBTQ+ youth, families and individuals in Singapore.
Founded in 1999, Oogachaga provides face-to-face and online counselling for the LGBTQ+ community, run by trained volunteers. It also offers professional counselling, a youth programme for those aged 16-29, and corporate engagement and professional training to educate companies, professionals and students in LGBTQ+ issues.
How you can help
Time: Various, typically at least a few hours a week
If you are based in Singapore and aged over 21, you can volunteer with Oogachaga’s WhatsApp and email counselling services (please note there is a training process for volunteers). Those with professional qualifications in social work, counselling or psychology may apply to become a professional counsellor.
