Lambda Legal is a non-profit organisation working to advance the rights of LGBTQ+ and HIV+ people in the United States.
Founded in 1973, Lambda Legal is the oldest and largest national legal organisation whose mission is to achieve full recognition of the civil rights of LGBTQ+ people, and everyone living with HIV, through impact litigation, education and public policy work.

The organisation is also seeking attorneys who are sensitive to LGBT and HIV-related issues to join their Cooperating Attorney Network. Member attorneys serve as resources for callers to their Legal Help Desk who are seeking assistance on issues involving sexual orientation, gender identity/expression and/or HIV status in a specific practice area.
