Action on Pre-eclampsia provides pre-eclampsia support and information to members of the public and support to those affected by the condition.
Action on Pre-eclampsia (APEC) aims to raise public and professional awareness of pre-eclampsia, improve care, and ease or prevent physical and emotional suffering caused by the disease. They operate a helpline for members of the public who are affected by pre-eclampsia, run study days and information campaigns on the condition for midwives and health professionals, and facilitate a unique expert referral service, whereby patients can be referred by their GPs to an expert on pre-eclampsia in their area.

Subscribe to the monthly APEC newsletter to receive news on research, fundraising and other updates.
APEC does not take on volunteers. You can give your time through fundraising activities, though these will also involve a financial cost.
Explore ways to give to APEC via donations or online shopping initiatives such as Amazon Smile. You can also fundraise, play the APEC lottery, or apply to run the London Marathon in support of the organisation, taking part in their largest fundraising event of the year.
