Action on Pre-Eclampsia

Action on Pre-eclampsia provides pre-eclampsia support and information to members of the public and support to those affected by the condition.

Action on Pre-eclampsia (APEC) aims to raise public and professional awareness of pre-eclampsia, improve care, and ease or prevent physical and emotional suffering caused by the disease. They operate a helpline for members of the public who are affected by pre-eclampsia, run study days and information campaigns on the condition for midwives and health professionals, and facilitate a unique expert referral service, whereby patients can be referred by their GPs to an expert on pre-eclampsia in their area.
