The Khaled Hosseini Foundation provides aid and practical support for women and children in Afghanistan.
Founded in 2007 by Afghan-American author Khaled Hosseini, the Khaled Hosseini Foundation provides shelter and humanitarian relief to families in Afghanistan. It works to provide education and healthcare for children, and economic opportunities for women. It works with various organisations including UNICEF, providing shelters for refugees, repatriation grants for resettling refugees, writing workshops for women, medical care and more.
