The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) is a UK charity dedicated to conservation.
The RSPB works across the UK and internationally to conserve and protect habitats. It engages in community outreach and education, works on government policy and engages in projects such as satellite tracking of birds and landscape conservation. It also offers online resources such as wildlife guides.
Note that the RSPB partners with BirdLife International for its international work.
How You Can Help
Time: various; from a few hours to several weeks at a time
Engage in citizen science projects such as the Big Garden Bird Watch or join local RSPB groups. There are various volunteering opportunities, including short term flexible roles and and residential opportunities, which can last for several weeks. You can also fundraise for the RSPB.

Donate to a specific appeal or make regular donations. Annual membership is available, with concessions for under-18s.
